Hot Tips will be full of pro tips and hot takes, like where the best food on campus is.
You can now send a direct message by reacting to another student’s bio or fun fact! React with an emoji or customized message the next time you’re viewing a profile to get the conversation started.
With this update, you’ll have new ways to customize your privacy settings. You are now able to control who can follow or DM you and who gets to see your socials.
We also know how much you love ZeeMee’s Friend Finder, so we made it even easier to use it within your favorite school communities.

We won’t tell them that you think they’re cool. Starring them adds them to a personal list you can access from your profile and they’ll show up as suggestions when you want to start a DM or group chat.

The amount of chats y’all are sending is insane! You’ve forced us to step up our game and make the app run faster so you can keep up with all the valuable intros and random animal surprises in your channels. We've also improved the video playback experience for videos in chat! If you have feedback on the changes, go to your profile > settings > contact us!
Ever jump into a chat after a few hours and have no clue what the heck is going on?? We added a new chat feature that let’s your “rewind” the conversation back to where you left off. Go try it out!

Head to the middle tab for our new Roommate Match feature! Last year, hundreds of students told us that ZeeMee helped them find their Roommate/BFF! It's way better than hoping someone will randomly HYU on Snap.
Take the quiz to tell us what kind of roommate you're looking for and we'll show you the top matches at your school - we'll even let you see their answers!

Follow these steps:
1. Go to the chat tab
2. Tap +
3. Create a new group
4. Give it a name
5. Share the link
Unlike Snap or IG, there's no group member limit so you can extend as many invites as you'd like! Happy chatting!
We've added support for private group chats! Start a new group conversation by selecting multiple people that you follow or by tapping on someone's name within chat and adding them to a private group.

For those of you starting college this fall, we've created new CLASS OF chat groups so you can keep in touch all school year. CLASS OF chat groups are exclusive to students that are attending that school. Hoping to meet other people in your dorm, students from your class, or teammates for your IM league? Get in there and let people know what you're looking for!
Including a link to your ZeeMee profile in your applications is a great way to share your interests, work, and portfolios with the colleges you're interested in. ZeeMee profiles are easy to fill out and colleges love to see them.
This release includes some changes to how profiles look in the app so they're more fun to browse.
If you have friends that don't know about ZeeMee yet, be a pal and tell them about it!
We updated our sign in experience to make our new users feel extra welcomed and fixed a handful of crashes to make our existing users feel extra cared for.
Our app takes up less space on your phone now! All the features you love in one slimmed-down package.
We added the ability to upload videos to your profile! We know you all love watching your connections' videos to get to know them better. Now you can upload a short welcome video introducing yourself with a fun fact or two, showing off your cat's acrobatic skills, or highlighting that epic performance at your last game or recital. Nothing is too small to share!
Major congratulations to all the recent grads out there! We're really proud of all of you! What are your plans for this summer? It looks like we're going to be loading up on bug repellant, cooking up a few new features, and playing lots of Spikeball here at HQ!
